A veteran hotelier with more than 20 years experience, Patricia currently serves on the Executive Board for the SC Hospitality Association, after holding the regional chairman position for two terms. In addition to her professional affiliations, she has led her hotels to such honors as Sleep Inn of the Year; IHG Hotels Quality Excellence Award, and many Gold Award winning Comfort Suites and two Platinum Sleep Inns. Porter is a past chairperson of the Choice Hotels Owner's Council of North and South Carolina.
William S. Wellons has over 35 years of experience in property management, land development, hotel development and residential and commercial construction. Since 1969, he has played a key role in his family's business, Ace Construction, a well known name in raw land purchase, land development and construction throughout the Carolinas.
Vann Pierce has over 15 years experience in hospitality management and over thirty years total experience in the service industry. Currently he serves as CEO of Vann Pierce Management and SVM, LLC, both headquartered in Kernersville, North Carolina. His properties and their respective staff have received numerous national awards ranking top in the nation in their respective categories.
Beverly Biggers is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. Included in her duties are preparation of financial statements, maintaining banking relationships, processing payroll, managing the receivables and payables, and reconciling various accounts related to the company. Beverly joined PWP Hospitality Group in February 2003 after taking early retirement from Bank of America. She brings a wealth of accounting experience gained through her 30-year career at the bank.
Well known within the hospitality industry for her sales and marketing successes, Paula oversees all sales and marketing efforts for PWP Hospitality Group's properties. Prior to joining PWP Hospitality Group, Maczak served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing with the Hickory, NC based Hospitality Group Management, where she was responsible for marketing a diverse portfolio of hotels in corporate, interstate and resort locations. Paula currently serves on the Choice Hotels Owner's Council of NC/SC Marketing committee and was the past Chairperson.
